When taking on new trainees, you’ll want to get them up to speed as quickly as possible

Our Induction Week is a collection of practical workshops, designed to help give your new trainees the best possible start in their new accountancy career. Through comprehensive training in bookkeeping, VAT and interpersonal skills, the Induction Week helps to give you the confidence that your new trainees have received the training necessary to progress in their new roles as quickly as possible.

The workshops are held back-to-back over the duration of a week and can either be booked together (as a combined programme), or individually.

• Bookkeeping Module

This module (held across 4 days) is essential for anyone who is new to accounting and wishes to understand bookkeeping and accounts preparation. A must for all new starters!

• Introduction to VAT

This course will familiarise participants with the basic scope of VAT and the bookkeeping entries necessary to record the VAT element of business transactions.

• Professional Skills - Making the Right Start with Colleagues and Clients

It’s vital when starting work that people are aware of the importance of projecting the right image - both in the office and when dealing with clients. This course introduces the principles of good communication when dealing with people face to face and on the telephone.
